Teaching materials

This type of course allows students to study directly from home via the site’s e-learning platform. Upon registration, credentials will be provided to access it. On the site the student can view the text books (Training Notes in English) of the module (s), view some video lessons (in Italian and English), carry out progressive and final self-assessment tests and communicate with a tutor available to answer any questions that may arise during the individual study.

Course duration and training location

In this case, there is no standard duration for the course as the timing and study are managed freely by the candidate; it can be done at home or anywhere else using a personal computer with Internet connection. The only constraint is represented by the final exams established by the Organization which will be held at its headquarters.

Interactive online seminars

At the end of each theoretical module carried out in e-learning mode, the candidate will be able to participate in a review seminar which will be streamed online before the exam is administered.

This shared lesson mode allows you to organize a video conference, whose main feature is interactivity. The AEA instructor will use the online platform to carry out his review lesson, and all connected students will be able to actively participate in the lesson, ask questions and listen to the interventions of the other connected students. All this is possible thanks to a free application for the student, available for every device (smartphone, tablet, computer) and compatible with all operating systems.

Exams

The examination of each module consists of a variable number of multiple-choice questions (3 alternatives) and for some modules (M7A-M9A-M10) also with one or two open-ended questions. The grade required to pass the examination of each module must be greater than or equal to 75%. The exam sessions are guaranteed with a minimum number of two participants.

Certificates of passing the final exam

Upon passing each theoretical exam, a “Certificate of Recognition” is issued, valid in all member states of the EASA (European Aviation Safety Agency).

Exam calendar

To know the dates of the module exams you can consult the Calendar or contact the secretary’s office of the Organisation.
