Aeronautical Mechanic Training Course
Who the course is for
The Aircraft Mechanic Course is a paid specialist training program designed to develop fundamental technical skills and support the operational integration of trainees alongside certified SEAS technicians.
The program lasts 12 weeks and is conducted entirely in English. It combines classroom-based theoretical instruction with hands-on training in the hangar, with the aim of preparing future Qualified Aircraft Mechanics through practical and professionally oriented experience.
Main course topics:
During the course, participants will cover the main topics of the aviation industry, including:
- Aviation regulations
- Fundamentals of aerodynamics
- Aircraft systems, structures, and components
- Use of tools, equipment, and maintenance devices
- Inspection and maintenance techniques
- Study and interpretation of maintenance manuals
Course structure:
Each week concludes with an assessment exam, which participants must pass in order to progress to the following week.
At the end of the 12-week training period, candidates will be assigned to one of the SEAS operational bases across Italy, where they will work alongside and support qualified technicians while continuing their professional development path.
The course is not intended to provide the modules required to obtain the Aircraft Maintenance License (AML).

To access the course, candidates must have an intermediate level of English proficiency (B1) and hold a secondary school diploma or an equivalent/higher qualification. A good aptitude for manual work is also considered a preferred requirement.
The selection process includes an introductory and aptitude interview aimed at assessing English language proficiency, manual dexterity in the use of work tools, and understanding of correct operational procedures.
