Exam part 66
This option is designed for those who wish to obtain or complete the training required for an Aircraft Maintenance Licence (AML) in the following categories: B1.1 (Turbine Engine Aircrafts), B1.2 (Piston Engine Aircrafts), B2 (Avionics).
It is particularly suitable for:
- those who are unable to attend an in-person course but wish to pursue a career in aircraft maintenance, even without previous experience;
- those who already have training credits towards an Aircraft Maintenance Licence (AML) and wish to complete their theoretical preparation;
- those who already hold an Aircraft Maintenance Licence (AML) and need to remove any limitations from their licence.
Theoretical training: Customisable
Exams Structure
The Part 66 exams provide theoretical training only for the modules required to obtain an Aircraft Maintenance Licence in the selected category.
There is no fixed course duration: each candidate can organise their study schedule and learning pace according to their own needs, studying from home or any other location using a computer with an Internet connection.
The only mandatory requirement concerns the final examinations, which are held at the Institute’s main premises according to the examination schedule established by the Organisation.
Candidates can freely choose the services they wish to purchase, based on their existing training, qualifications and individual requirements.
Piattaforma e-learning
The online platform allows students to study independently from home. Following registration, each student will receive their personal login credentials.
The platform provides access to:
- training materials and Training Notes in English;
- video lessons in Italian;
- progressive and final self-assessment tests.
Revision Seminars
Candidates may attend a revision seminar, either online via streaming or in person, before the final examination.
During the seminar, students can review the course content with the instructor, ask questions and exchange knowledge and experiences with other participants.
Exams
Each examination consists of a variable number of multiple-choice questions, with three possible answers.
Module M7 also includes two open-ended questions.
A minimum score of 75% is required to pass each examination.
Examination sessions are organised once a minimum of three enrolled participants has been reached.
Certificates
Upon successful completion of each theoretical examination, students are issued a Certificate of Recognition, recognised throughout the EASA Member States.

Entry requirements:
At present to access the courses there are no entrance tests.
A basic knowledge of English is required (Level A2 / B1) and a secondary school diploma, equivalent or higher as an educational qualification. A strong aptitude for manual work is recommended.
